Abstract: Aiming at finding out the movement behavior of overlying strata in working face with large dip angle and large mining height under the roof of interbedded coal gangue,taking the 25213 working face of Xinjiang coking coal group as the engineering background,using the method of physical analogous simulation,made a research about the movement behavior of overlying strata in working face with large dip angle and large mining height under the roof of interbedded coal gangue.The result indicated that:(1)The pressure step distance excursion is 8~17m about 25213 working face.Compare with the same dip working face with large dip angle and large mining height under the tight roof,the pressure step distance excursion is larger,and the magnitude of shock load caused by overlying strata breaking is larger.The abutment pressure in working face is larger and it has a stable distribution.The peak values of abutment pressure in upper coal pillar and lower coal pillar are smaller.(2)In the seam height,compare with the overlying strata in upper region,the overlying strata movement in lower region is lager.In the seam inclined direction,compare with lower region in this working face,the overlying strata movement in middle region and upper region is lager.
